Hi, I'm Summer.

Raised in a household of avid storytellers, I was surrounded by wild adventures long before the era of cell phones and the internet. Long before time sped away into the busy-ness and noise of today, we would share tales of our crazy antics, sparking laughter and shocking disbelief in those who listened. I learned early on that storytelling builds a unique bridge between people. When we share our experiences, we invite others to examine their own lives and experiences. I mean… we all have stories, right?

Today, that same passion drives me to write stories that spark laughter and encourage hearts in the pursuit of Jesus. As a wife and mom, life experiences haven't slowed down… they've only given me more material. These days I write stories inspired by conversations and sounds that fill my home. Stories born out of big imaginations and misunderstandings masked as mysteries.

This is precisely what led to the creation of Mags & MarMar: The Mystery of the Gruffly Grizzly. While it appears to be a mystery on the surface, it is a fundamental lesson in finding courage even when our imaginations get the best of us.
